This custom-crafted urn brought deep comfort to the family who commissioned it. Designed to honour the memory of a Saskatchewan native, it features delicate wheat motifs symbolizing the province's rich heritage. Inspired by Saskatchewan’s 'Land of the Living Sky,' I combined carefully chosen pigments to create a stunning, sky-like backdrop that surrounds the wheat. The primary colour, a warm and vibrant yellow, was specially requested by the family. To enhance its feminine elegance, I adorned the lid with small, beautifully cast yellow flowers, making this urn a truly personal and heartfelt tribute.
