This apple tree root ball has been brought back to life as a beautiful lidded vessel that can be used for a variety of things including an urn for a small being. The root ball was cast in a food safe epoxy resin from Designer Epoxy , turned on my lathe and sanded/polished to a mirror finish. The piece measures approx. 8" tall x 5.5" at its widest point.

Urns can be made with any organic material provided it is dry and will blend well with the epoxy resin. Pigmented resin, with ample choices of colours and blended colours, is also an option.
